"Liv & The Boys were an Eugene, Oregon band with Liv - Flute & vocals, Ian Smith - acoustic
guitar & vocals, Jim Davis - Electric bass, Randy Ross - Congas. Then somehow, unknown to me,
they got Cipollina to play on their album on, of course, electric guitar. The music is hard to
describe, but as a former resident, it is indeed very "Eugene" sounding. What that means it's
kinda like hippie home recording sound mixed with jazz (both big there) While it's not
something for everyday listen, I find it quite nice and fine and get instant flashbacks. ;)
This is a long long out of print tape-only indie release."
